Where does the information come from?
From the episode itself. The Mukhtar goes to the market and asks sellers and craftspeople directly, and we film the answer as it was said. We do not add facts that were not said in the episode; when something needs another source, we link to it.
How do we report prices?
Every price is tied to the date of the episode it came from, because prices in Syria change fast. We give the price in US dollars at the Damascus market rate on that day, and in new Syrian pounds, and we name the source and date of the exchange rate. Syria removed two zeros from its currency in 2026, so when a seller quotes old pounds we divide by 100.
What does "last checked" mean?
It is the last day we reviewed the page. Prices stay the prices of the episode day, and the date is shown so you know when they were said.
Paid content
Some episodes are sponsored. We say so clearly at the top of the page, and we do not call the sponsor "the best".
