The short answer

On 16 September 2025 the gram of gold in the Damascus goldsmiths' bulletin rose from 11,750 to 11,850 new Syrian pounds (about $102 to $103) in a single day. A bride's set started from about $304 (35,000 new pounds), and making charges ran $6.5 to $22 (750 to 2,500 pounds).
